Talktalk can't fix faults

This afternoon there was a knock on the door. BT Openreach. They have provided a temporary fix by connecting the broken dropwire up to the pole. Why didn't they do that on 1st Jan when they sent 2 engineers to fix the fault?0

30 years in BT (Apparently) and you don't know about the hoists, A55 forms and how painfully slow BT are at the most simplest of tasks. Or in fact billing people correctly I suspect this comment is a lie?(In all my 38 years of working in telecoms including 30 years in BT, that's a new one on me).0 -

30 Years working for BT you should know their processes as to why its taken them this long.

So last week they were going to erect a new pole
Saturday they provided 'temporary service'
Yesterday they kept phoning up saying they were testing
Today an engineer called but didn't really know why....he said there were no job notes
This afternoon I was told that it is too expensive to put a new pole up so they have.........closed the case (but are going to explore other options to fix my line and talktalk won't have access to the details)0 -
Oh, and last week somebody from TT looked at my linkedin profile0

Guess what....this is still going on. nearly 13 months now0
