If the bathroom contains a toilet you will need 2 doors between the bathroom and the kitchen.
(Though check your local planning office, sometimes you may be able to get away with one). It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)0 -

The requirement for two doors.
So are you saying you need 2 doors, or don't need 2 doors?
I'd still check with the local planning office.

I don't think you need 2 doors provided there's an extractor fan in the bathroom that comes on automatically when the door opens. Best check with planning and building regs department of local council.
Please let us know what you find out0 -
Good morning: Part G Building Regs (Hygiene) requires one door only...

yes you need two doors between a kitchen and bathoom/toilet we overcame this by using a bifolding door which folded back against the wall was never used but met with regulations0

My daughter bought a new house and she has a kitchen with an archway into a utility room . She has a toilet and washbasin in the utility room with an extractor fan.So she only has one door.0

No you dont need two doors, as previous posters have stated. It just doesn't seem to have filtered through to the general public yet.
People are sometimes a bit grossed out by a bathroom or toilet next to a kitchen, but generally understand it's very common in certain types of properties (terrace for example).0 -
We only have 1 door our kitchen is an extention on the back of the house and is all open downstairs in to the dining room where we hav an open staircase and the bathroom is at the top of the stairs. the door is rarely closed.
stuff the building regs0
