Cashback Cards help please.

Hello all, and a happy new year.

I have at present a Cap One CC that pays 0.5 % cashback, I've only had it a couple of months and have found out the cashback is paid annually (every January), when looking at what cashback I've earned it states that it's paid back to the card as a credit.

Is there any other cashback CCs that pay the cashback earned into a different account (say my current account) rather than back onto the CC?

Thanks in advance
Chris

    I don't think so.
    What difference would it make?

The Tesco credit card (which pays 1 clubcard point for every £2 spent, and with 1point = 1p, or perhaps more if you double, treble or quadruple up when offers are on, and so equates to at least 0.5% cashback) allocates points to your Tesco clubcard account rather than crediting the credit card :)

The Santander 123 card, whilst it credits the credit card account, does this monthly rather than annually.

The amazon card pays out 1 point per £1 (2 points per £1 on amazon purchases) so equates to at least 1% cashback. Paid out in amazon vouchers, but only in multiples of £10 (so you need 1,000 points to get each voucher)

i receive CB annually from Amex and Barclaycard, and previously from CapOne, all credited to the card account...which is fine by me. they can build into nice sums over a year.:)

The idea was to put the cash back earned towards one of my debts.

I suppose I could always make an overpayment on my car loan each January of the same amount as the cashback credited to my CC, then continue using the CC as normal.

    Chris.

if there was an option to take it monthly i would. and yes, if you could use it to chip away at your debts on a monthly basis it would be great. but cashback is still welcome annually:)

If it puts the CC into credit, Capital One will transfer it to your linked current account (linked by Direct Debit), or alternatively, by cheque, if you request it.
