Morning everyone
So sorry for your loss MrsCautious
Dragged trolley to the shops as it is such a lovely day - then remembered Mr A*di super six changes tomorrow!!! Anyway - stocked up on their chicken kievs at 95p.
Spent £26.33 in total at Mr A*di Home Bags and local butcher. That should last us until the 21st and only need 2 more main meals until end of March so should be well under budget. May even use some of the Mr T vouchers I 've just received to stock up a little!!!
Keep up the good work everyone.
PS Have you remembered to stock up on stamps before the price increase?July 16 £95/£200
Nov 16 £0/£200

Hi Everyone
I've not posted since the beginning of the month. Doing really well up to now. Spent £120.00 out of my £250.00 budget. Dinners are planned til the end of the month and only need a couple of bits for them. Will need the usual bread, milk, fruit etc. Everyone here has the lurgy and youngest dd has had her first missed day of school in about 3 years. The only upside of this is i've had 3 NSD in a row.March 2014 Grocery challenge £250.000 -
I'm pleased to say I haven't been near any shops today so another NSD under my belt - that's 11/20 now so over half way to what I was hoping to do. My month ends on 23rd so another 11 days to go so not sure I'll get the 20 but I'll give it a go.

Weekly shop done.
Interesting to see Sainsbury's has dropped its 4L milk prices from £1.49 to £1 in line with the other supermarkets, makes you wonder where all the profit went previously???
Had to buy nappies this week, every time I buy them I secretly hope this is the last pack (my LO has been dry in the day for nearly a year but we can't crack nights).
Total remaining budget is £103.88/£180, not bad considering we're nearly hitting mid-month.We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -

I recently found a part used book which (based on a G00gle for the design) are from (probably early) 1989 ! Unfortunately I won't save anything by using these as they're marked 19p (which I believe was 1st class at the start of that year)Cheryl0 -
MrsCautious wrote: »Hi everyone, I've been trundling along and am possibly a little over where I would like to be but still confident of coming in around £200, the thing is whatever the total, I know I'm genuinely doing my best -- not buying stuff for the sake of it, using up supplies, getting YS bargains etc.
We've had the most dreadful few days though as we've lost our beautiful little angel of our rescue jack russell, whom we have had to have put to sleep as she was suddenly very poorly with kidney failure. We are proud to have given her the love we have but she has absolutely been there for me since I lost my husband coming up to 2 years ago, it was his birthday a few days ago. It has been tough. Feeling bereft.
Good luck everyone, for me this month thoughts and plans about money have dwindled in importance, not sure how much attention I'm going to pay to my spends in the coming weeks, not going to go mad though, I think that would add to my stress.
So so sorry to hear about your little dog, sending hugs for you and your girls, spoil yourself and them for a little while you deserve itSlimming World at target0 -
Good afternoon!
Another NSD here in sunny Scotland. I received £80 worth of vouchers for Sainsburys from my credit card company. I have been collecting points for over a year now and finally asked for some vouchers. Looking forward to getting the April budget as low as possibleMarch GC £122.25/ £120

In the library as tearing my hair out with lack of internet at the moment and haven't time to read through the thread to see which post of mine last worked.
Have been managing to add to sig but have a spend on fruit and cream ( for DD's cookery- which she's ended up not doing as the other pupils hadn't brought in ingredients *rolls eyes*); so £4.64 to add. Probably some no spend days the next few days, though have no Quorn sandwich meat and strawberries ( DD1 eating a punnet a time); also will probably run out of bread aswell.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 July £76.30/£150 (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
