  • Congrats to dingdongsaving and lushlifesaver!

I'm declaring for March, well over budget at $486.31/$300. It was an expensive month - and once I went over it seems I just gave up!! It was also a lot harder than I expected to get my head around budgeting for a calendar month when I get paid in the middle - however, as someone said on here recently, it really shouldn't make any difference. I shall persevere and conquer all :)

I'm going to adjust the amounts for April to be a little more conservative :)

    June 2020 GC $370.31/$700
    July 2020 GC $316.87/$700
  • Ready to declare as my month goes from 14th-14th.
£407.21/£400.00:T I'm rather pleased with that! Last month was around £475. Sadly the car fuel bill was £80 more than last month but that's due to all the city trips!!

Will try for the same next month but might have to ban hubby from any kind of food shopping:eek::j:eek::j:eek:

    lol!!!

Trying to figure out what to pledge for April, Looked back to see what I had pledged for March to discover it was £450! So I had come way under! Haha! :rotfl::rotfl:

Need to get the pledges on the signature cos obviously my recall skills are not up to such challenges!

  • Have had a few spends on top ups, so a fairly hefty addition to the end to the month at £80, however still well under the budget target for this month.

    Declaring on £174/£250 for March.

Will need to get a few basics in this week so will head over to April now.

Could someone possibly share the link to the April challenge? I have been searching for it, but can't seem to find it (I don't remember which section this challenge is in)

    Thanks in advance!

    Congrats to lush and dingdong!

I haven't posted for a while but I am declaring at 258/260. Just under. It was difficult staying on budget this month as DH invited the family over for FIL birthday so one week we went well over budget on entertaining food. But last week I reined in the budget and we only spent £15 on an aldi shop for essentials. Poor DH has had to go without his marmite until the April budget kicks in;). I am going over to April now. Bye!

Just some last small spends for the month (I hope fingers xd). Al*i = £6.99 and Mr M £8.37 - mostly f & v and pack up stuff. I know we're going to eat it in April but I bought it in March (too complicated for my little brain otherwise :rotfl: )

Start extra job tomorrow so bit apprehensive eh.

Hope you all have a money-saving Monday

That's me done for March - £2.33 over budget but considering it was a five week month I'm quite pleased. :D
