Morning!
Lushlifesaver - congratulations! !!! :j :j
Havent got much left for the month. Boyfriend bought 2 Ales and 1 red and I am proud to say that - after the little chat him and I had the other day - he left the second beer to tonight and more than half of the red is still there!
So now I have got £1.15 left and I might get a bit of lettuce with that.
Tonight 29: toad in the hole with steamed cauliflower and green beans
Sunday 30: massive late lunch at PIL's
Monday 31: veggie cottage pie with salad (lettuce to buy, cherry toms and cucumber already in)
Should be doable! !
Have a lovely weekend everyone!!!0 -
still here, and working out my spends of yesterday needed cat food - so what it to be April - need to start again and try a little harder at my budget - going to try a different approach next month and open a bank account and put my food money in there and then once its gone its gone........ will up date spends
have a great day xxxxSell £750.00
Jan-feb-march - 150.000 -
Topped up yesterday on all the bits Lidl was out of earlier in the week so £5.94 spent.
£36.41 / £180 remaining - however I think I may have under-reported or messed up my figures somewhere as that seems to be too much left in the pot with only 2 days left on the calendar.
If I have nothing else to do tomorrow (ie my DD isn't treating me to a day off) then maybe I'll dig out all the receipts and re-tally.
Happy weekends and Mothers Day everyone. We Made-it-3 on 28/01/11 with birth of our gorgeous DD.0 -

Hope everyone's March is going well
I think I'm on £59 or £65 of my £80 target this month. I'm short on funds (a lot of expensive things cropped up this month), so trying to skrimp where I can. Thankfully I had a well stocked freezer this month, and was away for a few weekends (so other people fed me), which helped.
I'd normally put my savings into a jar towards Christmas, but I have had to absorb the money to other places. I'll probably re-pay myself £15 over a few months.
Will head over to the new challenge once I've decided on amounts for April - might need to allow a little more because I'll need to re-stock the freezer!0 -
Did the weekly shop today and cheated a little. I put half on March's budget and half on April's. I don't really want to get into thus habit but I have been really good this month, so I wanted to adjust Slightly so I felt I had achieved something. If I struggle to do £250 next month I might have to readjust the budget.Grocery challenge-

Spends are now at £187.43 but this is partly due to Mothers day and a visit to a farm shop where I brought a tray of eggs and a few other bits and bobs. Wouldn't normally add mothers day into the equation but there is enough money in the pot to cover it so decided to include it.
Tomorrow should be a NSD but need a couple of things on Monday - mainly liver & cabbage.MARCH £62.38/2500
