    NSD today (third this week)
For lunch we had soup and pizza. The pizza was made using a tortilla wrap with passata spooned on top then onion, mushrooms, sliced tomatoes and cheese. We had one between us then some fruit after.
Tonight we had hm oven chips, egg and beans. Had three small but very soft apples in the bottom of the fruit bowl so made some apple scones using the recipe Florenceem posted the other day.

Also just messing in the kitchen I made a potato croquette as there was about a tablespoon of mashed potato left from the other day. I shaped the croquette by using some cling film and wrapped it tightly around the mash then after it had firmed up in the fridge I dipped it in flour then egg and then some breadcrumbs with grated cheese added to it and shallow cooked it for a short time. The result was - gorgeous and will be doing them again. Ate this one with a blob of sweet chilli sauce to dip into.

    Managed another NSD today.

We had salmon fillets (freezer), croquettes (freezer) and steamed asparagus/carrot batons (s/o Li*l). I made some packet hollandaise (half a pkt) which were Al*i s/o a few weeks ago. Absolutely clean plates :rotfl: I shall have to get this photo thingy sorted out.

Hope you all have a thrifty Thursday

Yesterday's spends of £15.77 from yesterday added to signature

£2.79 in Mr T (went in for 4 items, came out with 3 as the only fresh one I wanted didn't have a long enough life - 2 days when I can normally pick up with at least 10 days!)

and £12.98 on meat from L1dl (Diced Wild Boar plus Moose steaks - special treats over the next couple of months on weekends I'm feeding both OH and DS1).

Hi everyone, hope you are all staying strong near the end of this month and doing better than I am. I am way over budget. We had a takeaway and also went out with lunch including desserts which has taken us a good bit over. Oh well fresh start come April 1st x

Hi everyone, my total is now £180.54 from my £250.00 budget. I need to do one more shop this weekend and I am going to do it online therefore I should be well within my budget *fingers crossed*.

Spent some money on a jug from the CS and 3 knitting patterns and because I didn't have enough money left in the personal spends I took it from the grocery budget. Stupid of me but I am always over on the PS and it has to come from somewhere. I am declaring £180 spent in total on the GC despite what it was spent on and thats it for the month. Over to April as we are away for the weekend so there will be no GC spends between now and then. I think I will also take Cheryls advice and join the Frugal Living Challenge as well.
Mortgage and Debt free but need to increase savings pot.
  • Quick update and declaring on £205.12! Just made it!!!

Have a few bits and I mena bits left over for next month but not very much!!!

Sig updated. See you all on the April thread.
    July 16 £95/£200
