Managed another NSD today. We had HM macaroni cheese, bacon and b. beans for dinner
Did some cooking today so 2 tubs chicken stock from carcass, chicken pickings for soup, 3 portions of mince and gravy in freezer and made a big pot of chilli, some of which we will have for dinner tomorrow and then freeze the rest :j
Offer leaflet through door from Mr M with money off vouchers but can use up to 4th April so might have a look for next month's budget. Find they are soo expensive for most stuff though.
Hope you all have a terrific Tuesday

Spend of £1.30 on wraps last night, already added to sig, and a baby order put in to ASDA online but that's a separate budget - they now have £1 2hr slots which they didn't have last time I did an online shop(!) and their boxes of their own nappies are down to £5 each so mil (who uses nappies for her dogs as well as our niece when she has her) and I have each ordered a few boxes. We've order in a couple of sizes so we'll never get caught short now!
Only other things that should be needed this week are milk, gravy granules, more wraps. There's enough in the March budget for these :-)
If baby does make an appearance we have plenty in the freezer to keep us going whilst we get in the swing of things but I may need to cave in a buy a few supplies in like oven chips, quick cook sauces and extra snack items.
Have u got an Ald* near by? I really don't recommend the asda nappies, they brought my lil boy out in a rash and leaked on several occasions. The Ald* ones are fab! When ever I can get to one I always stock up. It might just have been a bad batch I had but just thought I'd say anyway.0 -

I just stick frozen sliced bread into the toaster, or straight onto the grill pan to toast. Takes a few seconds longer to do, but no sogginess. I'm not sure what to do if you want untoasted defrosted bread though.Bluegreen143 wrote: »Mrs_T_M your Applesauce Banana Muffins recipe has been added to the index in the April thread

Try to combine the points with one of the 'spend x amount and get x points!' vouchers that get spat out at the registers to add even more points. Last month, DH and I did a £30 shop with just points, and ended up making £9 back in points via vouchers. I've noticed that the nectar offers for extra points on the app usually are not worth it, unless you were planning on buying that product anyway.
Today is the day that DH is *supposed* to get paid, but we will see. I'm kinda itching to go ys shopping to see what I can get this evening. Was paid £4 by one of my survey sites yesterday, so I could get a few tiny bits, even if DH isn't paid until later.
Decided to eat one of the tins of tomato soup for lunch today (cheap lunch!) and decided to make some bread to go with it. I now have honey oatmeal bread in the bread machine that should be ready in time for lunch.0 -
