Creature Comforts I think is the name, I have used them for a different area many times, I think they are franchised but I found them very thorough and my dog loved going to her little old lady who fed her chicken all day:rotfl:

I use someone in Port Sunlight (Wirral) who looks after pets in their own home. Carolyn and Sarah are great and I can really recommend them. They board all pets at a reasonable cost.

I have heard of Bo's Place http://www.bosplace.co.uk/index.html and spoken to the lady who runs it. I haven't used the service yet but she seems lovely.

Just checked Bo's Place rates and it's £21 per day - bit expensive for me as I have 2 dogs and the cost would be £42 a day which would be £336 for the 8 day period covering a week's holiday.

I was keen on Bo's place but the website say they aren't taking new dogs
