I have a 2 year old female cat and usually she is playful and affectionate, but for the past few days shes quiet, growls when i stroke her sometimes, doesnt want to be around me, but sometimes she sits there purring.
We have another 2 males cats 1 year old, and she usually sleeps with them and they clean each other.
All the cats have been 'done' so the cant make kittens or have them if you know what i mean.
dunno whats up with her

Sudden change in behaviour may warrant a vet trip to rule out a medical condition, especially if there have been no environmental changes that may have upset her.0

If a cat changes ts behaviour then it is probably ill!"if the state cannot find within itself a place for those who peacefully refuse to worship at its temples, then it’s the state that’s become extreme".Revd Dr Giles Fraser on Radio 4 20170

i was thinking that too, she isnt off her food, just quiet and moody. usually she wants attention all the time - and she gets it.0 -
just had a look at her now because i noticed she was holding her rear left paw up a bit when she went to run off, ever so slightly tho, anyway when i lightly touched her paw /leg, she growled and hissed.
So trip to the vet in the morning, ive left her by the radiator with some food and water right by her so she doesnt have to walk off far

its just a thought - but have you checked her claws?0

or a split claw or one ingrowing. my own cats claws grow awfully quickly and they curl inward a lot! I have to clip them every few weeks! I wish my nails grew as quickly!0

Our little man was like this a few weeks ago. He's always scrapping, so though maybe he'd hurt himself and that he was being miserable as a result. It turned out, he had been in a scrap, but the day after boxing day he had a head full of blood. Took him to vets and it's a daily occurrence that they get absesses that burst when they've been in a scrap and bacteria gets under the skin. He was so much happier after a vet trip, so I'd go with the trip to vets too.Married the lovely Mr P 28th April 2012. Little P born 29th Jan 20140
