  • Pls can anyone help me. I had my complaint upheld against canada square for misselling ppi/crp. They have sent me an offer offering me £342.97 breakdown as follows £236.61 CRP premiums, interest on premiums £10.33, plus 8% interest £129.04. Total £366.98 less 20% £24.01.
I am very confused i held the Egg card from oct 2003 to feb 2008 when it was paid up.
I have had a look at the statements sent to me initially it is not clear how much was charged.

Can anyone help me with how it is calculated or what i should do. I have no idea what to do now. Pls help me am desperate

You can ask the Bank for a breakdown , but it's basically all the PPI you paid, plus associated interest, plus 8% simple interest. You haven't received a lot because you didnt pay a lot. Note that credit card PPI is only payable when the account has a balance. On months when there was a nil balance you won't have paid at all.'

Don't spend it all at once.
Why are you "desperate"? You won't be receiving any more unless you have documentary proof that you paid more...

Look at the statements, look at the bit that says card protection, or repayment protection, add it up.
If it's not clear on there, then yu weren't charged it or if you paid off your balance every month or had a low balance you won't have paid much.
