Balance transfer

Is a balance transfer just for existing credit cards or can I transfer my next directory account balance?

I think you can just use a credit card to pay your Next Directory card card balance off.

You can but not through the balance transfer route, to be clear. So don't apply for a BT card for this purpose.

Apply for a card with 0% purchases, and use the card to actually make the payment to next. They're a catalogue, not a store card, even if you actually have the physical card, and the payments are classed as a purchase by all (I think, I've used loads of different CCs to pay next) providers.

The bonus with this is that you pay no fees, and you get whatever reward your CC provider is offering at the time (cashback, points, whatever).
