For me the best steam cleaner floors are:
-Vax Steam Mop – S2 Upright Hard Floor Master
-Vax Steam Mop – S2S-1 Bare Floor Pro With Detergent
-Kärcher SC1.020 Multi-Purpose

I bought a Vax steam mop to try it out on tiled floor, maybe my expectations were too much, but for me a decent mop does a much better job.
Unsure of how well it will work on laminate flooring though, the other people who comment about there not being enough steam are correct, and in fact I thought my steam iron produced more steam than the steam mop.
Anyway this is just 2 penneth worth!!

I lifted one that was on display in B&Q and was surprised at how heavy it was; not a good idea with my back problems.
