Bus Stop Parking Notice

I have received a Penalty Charge notice for stopping in a bus lane, which I think I may have a number of grounds to refuse to pay. Firstly the Code they are referencing on the PCN is "Stopped on a restricted bus stop or stand" which I believe should start "Parked..." as per code 47. As they have this wrong is it grounds to reject? Secondly I also believe the signage is wrong as the sign is not as displayed in the TSRGD 2002 - ie sign 974 or 975. The sign as displayed states "no stopping at any time" with the standard no stopping symbol, but the sign does not have the words "except buses" on it. Can this be used? Thirdly I do not remember seeing the notice that CCTV enforcement was in use, although I will have to drive by again to double check on that one. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Regards

We really specialise in private parking issues, the forum most able to help in terms of council issued penalties is PePiPoo where they have a specialist section with highly informed contributors.
You will need to start a new thread, give full details and photo/scan and upload all documents you've received regarding the penalty (both sides of each document).
