Charity Banking

I work for a childrens charity and we have a non-centralised bank account currently with the Co-op. In the past this is because it fit with our charities ethos but times have changed.
We are now on the lookout for a new bank.
It is a charity bank account and there are 5 of us who are currently signatories for the account. There are three bankaccounts linked under the same umbrella but this isn't the be all and end all. I think we need cheques to be currently counter signed by signatories to stop anyone running off with all of the money (although we dont have much). We would like online banking if possible. Obviously a good presence if we need to physically drop cheques in by hand.
I suppose what i'm asking is are there any banks with charity accounts who allow for online banking? Is there a way to do multiple signatories via online banking? Like an approval system?
Any experiences of charity/banking is welcomed.

The charity I was involved with banked with CAF. We had online banking as well as the use of cheques. And as the trustees lived in different parts of the country, it was easy to set up and make payments online.

I can vouch for Unity Trust, although my manager doesn't find them as helpful as I do, if that makes sense.
However, we were able to set up two accounts with them, for separate areas of our work. The online banking (mostly) works like a dream: one person enters the payment and another logs in and approves the payment, or rejects it. I find it very easy to use.Signature removed for peace of mind0
