expected floods in east Belfast .
lets hope they have insurance .
I dont want to see Sammy or Billy from the east complaining the 50" portable is bust and the new leather sofa is ruined and they have no insurance because they are on the brew ,or DLA with fleg related stress .

Looks like East Belfast has had a reprieve because this morning's high tide has come and gone but there wasn't enough wind to create a storm surge. They have evacuated all the offices nearby though as RTNI said. Coleraine has some town centre flooding and I heard Newry had some too.
There's another high tide tonight, let's see what the wind's like then. I can't remember how long the maximum spring tide lasts for - is it a week? Whatever it is the danger won't go away until the spring tide passes.0 -
