saved with Dreams today!!

Happy New Year all,

The base of my bed went late last year. Went into Dreams in Catford - South London today. I was introduce to three base units, two were £200 and one was £150, not bad i thought.

I asked the shop assistant if he could drop the price, and he said he could possibly take a tenner off. I enquired about delivery charge, and was told it would cost £40.00

I asked again for his best price on one of the £200 base unit. he said he could do one for £160.00 including delivery. I thought great, pushed one more and asked if he could do it for £150.00 we agreed in the middle at £155.00, a saying of £85.00

there was no prices displayed on the base units, but i am happy with the discount i got

  • No prices displayed would have the sceptic in me thinking the price was probably around what you paid anyway.

But as long as you are happy with the price paid

I was not sceptic at all. The cost of the bed was clearly displayed. The reason why the base cost was not displayed was because they expect you to purchase the complete bed unit. I asked how much the base was only, I was told. I asked how much the matress on its own, I was told. I added both the matress and base costs together and that was the same cost as the complete bed cost displayed.

I saved money and I am pleased
