The BPA are holding an Enforcement Interest Group Meeting at the Cubic Theatre, London Transport Musuem on 28th January 2014.

This meeting apparently is open to BPA members free and non-BPA members at a charge of £50 plus VAT including buffet lunch
Agenda: http://www.britishparking.co.uk/write/Documents/28-01-14-BPA__EIG_Agenda.pdf

This is even nothing new as the various London Boroughs offer pre-bookable dispensation for unloading vans at times as described on this website

Neil Herron of Activ8vps - this company proposes the bookable virtual bay unloading/loading solutions to avoid council penalty notices for company vehicles. This solution apparently can override the hatched double yellow line road markings and instantly make them legal for unloading - should be very chaotic - not to mention the congestion and traffic hold ups on the way.AGENDA

Won't be rushing to find my cheque bookPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I suppose we could quickly look to apply for work with the PPCs if only to quit straight after this!
The trouble is I'd only be too happy to sabotage operations if charged with the responsibility of serving the rubbish!0 -

Well this is the BPA after all........they can inform and influence the Government - how else did POFA and keeper liability get through legislation - has anyone found out if any cash donations were made by BPA/PPC members to political parties?
Their 5 -year strategy plan:The BPA's new BPA 5 year strategy 2012–2017 was approved by Council in November 2011.
To achieve excellence in parking, the BPA has identified the following objectives; -- Putting the consumer at the heart of our thinking
- Developing our membership and delivering better value
- Informing and influencing Government
- Building a consensus with all stakeholders
- Promoting innovation, technology and sustainability
- Making parking a recognised profession
and then there's their masterplan document for an interesting read:

IIRC this is the bloke who has cost councils millions of pounds [literally] by getting tens of thousands of tickets overruled [road markings, incorrect TMOs, etc].0 -
PentiP - police/CEO data collection system when issuing tickets
SEA ltd - barriers and gates
Mobius - mobile stuff [eg accepting cc payemtns at parking machines]0
