Was using some of the expanding foam, fill up the big gaps stuff the other day, which is brilliant and works a treat.
However friend then washed stuff out into the sink!!!!
Now the sink is blocked............any suggestions please?
(Can't access the ubend under the sink due to boxing in.)

i think the only way is to remove boxing and undo the u bend and hope that it's not gone too far
good luck0 -
You can get foam eater. I've never used it so I cannot vouch for it.
The other thing you could try is that liqu sink and drain unblocker, but I don't think this will do it.
I fear you're going to have to remove the boxing in and replace the trap. TBH you should be able to get to this anyway.Behind every great man is a good womanBeside this ordinary man is a great woman£2 savings jar - now at £3.42:rotfl:0 -

It isn't a magic wand however. I've had people use this on some of my sites and don't think it will unblock a drain. It's not runny enough and isn't particularly aggressive. It's normally used to get excess foam off window frames, as this foam is commonly used to seal around uPVC frames.
As water causes polyurethane foam to expand and cure more quickly, I suspect it will have got a good hold inside your pipes. That's why it's a b*gger to get off your skin (as Nelly said) - it reacts with the moisture in your skin.
I reckon you will need to remove and replace the pipework until you get to the end of the foam 'plug'.
How much went down the drain anyway???British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Thanks folks.
I did take the boxing apart and emptied the ubend. Luckily it was only a smallish blob and now all is well.
Brilliant stuff in the right place however it was quite a frightening lesson!!
