Secret Sales & Brand Alley Buyer Beware!!

Options
I would like to advise you of a couple of issues:

Cancellation of an item - even soon after purchase - guarantees that the item will be sent regardless.

Money is therefore taken, and then it becomes your responsibility to 'turn the delivery away at the door'. Really?? How many of us are realistically able to stay in all day every day until the delivery rocks up?? I cancelled an item 20 minutes after ordering on line. No confirmation of cancellation. I emailed again. I then got an email telling me the order was dispatched. I emailed and told them that I had cancelled the order, and they advise me to turn the order away when it arrived.

I am going on holiday, and wont be here to do that.

This has happened to me on more than two occasions now.

If you miss then you have to pay for the return of the item - by registered delivery if you have any sense, because these characters dont seem able to organise a box of nails.

I have had 2 or three completely contradictory emails from them regarding items that I have cancelled due to damage or because I simply found the item cheaper else where.

Second point: What ever they are selling, check the website of the original label. I have found that the original sellers/label are offering the items on sale for considerably less - so CHECK before you buy from these outlet stores.

So my advise at this point, is avoid unless you cant get the item anywhere else.... and then expect shambolic service....

Needless to say, that I wont be shopping with either BRAND ALLEY OR SECRET SALES again....

    I've been Money Tipped!
If you weren't going to be in to receive the goods, why place the order anyway?

You created this problem by ordering something and then getting a case of 'buyer's regret'.

Perils of online shopping, it's a bit rubbish - looks like it'll be a passing fad.

I'll remember not to order something I don't want for a delivery date where I won't be in. Thanks.
