Bank of Ireland- Faster payments?

Hi guys

I just wanted to check if anyone knows if Bank of Ireland (in Northern Ireland) accept faster payments? Or do they take a few days to appear in the person's account.

One of the many benefits of being in the European Union is that all national governments have had to put into effect the Payment Services Directive, which requires banks to process credits within the EU by the next business day.

3 working days? What kind of account did the payment come from, what kind of account did the payment go to? How did you make the payment?

Interestingly, I also had a similar problem when trying to make a payment to my Post Office savings account, which is run by the BoI. I have never had problems making a FP to it before, but the Lloyds site just wouldn't let me send one. When I checked the PostcodeAnywhere site, it said the sort code (90-78-68) couldn't accept faster payments, but I'm certain I used to be able to do it...

The faster payments website says it's able to accept FPs (and that it's allocated to Post Office Financial Services), so maybe there was a problem with the account number?
