Highest-rate accounts often have irksome terms and conditions attached. They might be with a provider that you do not care for, have no internet access, variable rates, restrictions on withdrawals or deposits, lousy consumer interfaces, a ban on dogs opening accounts.
Alternatively, some savvy organisations offer a delicious dog biscuit on sign-up.
Low rate? What low rate? :-)I am one of the Dogs of the Index.0 -

I'm guessing there is a website/QUOTE]
You guessed right. It's

nope dude.. Before investing money its so important to find out the credit worthiness of the financial institution.. in simple terms , the trust maintain by the financial institution among the public. then the rate comes to the second..
lol?
All the major banks are covered by the FSCS guarantee to £85K per institution. Forget the above post imho.
Different banks offer different rates depending on their current aims. Some banks are looking for more cash and offer higher rates, some aren't and don't. This is a very simplified way to look at it ofc.

OK, so as a car mechanic, would you find it strange if someone asked you whether there was a website to help people decide between a Boeing Dreamliner and a Ford Escort, or whether they should perhaps rather buy a bus or a boat? And would you buy a VW Golf because a lot of people buy a VW Golf, but you are actually looking for the best method of transport from London to New York?
Wouldn't you immediately ask people where they want to go, how many of them there is, how much money they have, how fast they need to go etc? I.e. wouldn't you want to know what their requirements are, so you can tell them whether a car is actually of use to them. And then, which one. No point in suggesting to a single pensioner with no relatives he needs a 12 seater SUV. Equally, no point in suggesting a Smart car to a mum of 4 who needs a car for the daily school run.
Hope that helps.
But I still think you are a troll.

Not so.

I guess it is rather a subjective point. Also, the tone used is poor but again that is just my opinion.
Noticed? That's rather a narrow-minded view you have there?:D

Thanks for my first proper MSE chuckle in 2014, though!
Glad to be of help, yes the first paragraph was fine so I can't have looked further than that.
I'd still claim it's not in the bottom quartile of posts in terms of sensibility though.0
