I am getting about a dozen emails from LOVEFiLM each day with various different offers (but mostly the same 30 day free one)
I have never signed up to receive emails and there is an unsubscribe link contained within them but I am reluctant to click it.
Is there any way of checking the address is genuine and if my request to unsubscribe would be honoured?

Isn't Lovefilm owned by Amazon or am I out of date? Never used it myself.
Do you have an Amazon account Derek? If so you may need to go into your Amazon settings and look for a facility to turn off emails from subsidiary companies.... DaveHappily retired and enjoying my 14th year of leisureI am cleverly disguised as a responsible adult.Bring me sunshine in your smile0 -
Lovefilm has an affiliate program that seems to be the cause of this.
Spammers bulk buy emails and send out affiliate offers to get you to sign up to stuff, you may spot that the source email addresses are not the same from one email to the next. I have simply set up a filter to delete anything that contains the word Lovefilm0 -

I have my filter set to send them to the spam folder, I think I will need to change it to instant delete as the numbers are increasing every dayMallotum_X wrote: »Lovefilm has an affiliate program that seems to be the cause of this.
