You can book online even if you are a first timer, but you don't get priority so you won't be able to do it until monday

I've got the booking site on auto refresh every 10 seconds lol. Does that seem desperate to anyone lol.

At Haven Thorpe Park most of the vans are privately owned not Haven vans - so the standard of vans is much higher than at some other Haven parks....

We have been to this site many times on sun hols and always book standard but we have always had a good van - much bigger and better equipt than "standard" Haven vans - once we had heating...

so if you book lux + at this site i am sure you will get a good van BUT Haven do not guarrantee heating in lux + so i would buy a cheap fan heater and take it with you - but make sure you unplug it when you put the kettle on or it trips the electric.

Yes forgot about that option. In fact it's been made much easier nowadays for first timers.
They're just booking a day later than the priority bookers.
Much better than the old snail mail, and then waiting for weeks to see if you'd got a holiday lol..

Thank you so much for your reply! I have just rang and like you said a luxury plus van is usually their deluxe. So they cannot guarantee heating. She said honestly some do get heating some don't. She said we are more than welcome to bring a heater or we can pay extra once we have booked tomorrow to upgrade to prestige. She said its about 30-40 pound extra. Thanks again! appreciated!

if i was you i would not upgrade any further as the vans at Thorpe Park are good - just spend the money on buying one or two fan heaters and then you can use them year after year....

what time of year are you going? We always ask for a particular area of the park that we like - have a look at the map and see what you want to be near...
