How long to update my credit file?? Mortgage application.

Beginning of the month I paid off any debt I had my CC in full, my catalogue account and also reduced my overdraft. Now it says they were all updated on 01.12.13 so when will it update again?? I have checked and so far still says the same. Me and my partner are meeting with our mortgage advisor on Tuesday to do our full mortgage application and I don't want the old balances showing on my credit report affecting the mortgage. If I explain to the mortgage advisor that they've been paid off but not showing yet can she put something on the mortgage application at all? Many thanks in advance for your replies.

Generally they are updated once a month, and usually a few days after whatever the update date was. So they may have updated before your visit next week.

You will need to tell the mortgage advisor the current balances of all accounts anyway and they will expect them to be at least a bit different from the balances shown on your credit files. If you have paid off a substantial amount since the last update then it may be worth mentioning that to your mortgage advisor.
