Hi all i think i may be receiving a pcn from parking eye i parked on a car park which i use a few times a year and pay on a Saturday, but recently i used this car park on a Sunday which always used to be free on a Sunday.
However I never read the rule changes on the board and have since found out someone i new had done the same on a sunday and got a fine and paid it. I used the carpark for approx 30-45 minutes late sunday afternoon, what shall i do if i receive a pcn? The charge is £85 or £50 if i pay within 14 days
Thanks in advance

What a credulous idiot that person was - and it was never a fine.I used the carpark for approx 30-45 minutes late sunday afternoon, what shall i do if i receive a pcn? The charge is £85 or £50 if i pay within 14 days
You appeal it and then win at POPLA as shown in the linked thread. We win every appeal v ParkingEye. Do post if you have any questions during the 2 stage appeal process as we want you to keep up our 100% record.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well gregcomp - now you know where to come should you receive a parking charge and how the get it cancelled. But please inform the other person what to do next time - in fact spread the word and tell everyone you know where and how to appeal!0
