Hi Guysngals
Just a quick question. I start part time employment on Monday - less than 16hrs. Do I still have to sign on in order to get my National Insurance stamp paid.? I do not qualify for income based jsa and my contribution based jsa has run out.
Thanks a lot

do you receive child benefit for any child under 12? - if so you will get NI credits based on that0

It depends how much you earn rather than the number of hours worked. If you earn over £109 per week you will be fine. Otherwise you will need to sign on to get a credit.0
