Happy New Year People!!! :j:beer::j:beer::D
Sooo..... after a veeeeery spendy 6 months or so for which we have been AWOL! I decided a brand spanking new 2014 diary was in order!!
Plans so far involve...
*cutting down on food shopping budget (this has been crazy lately!) starting today will be cooking up some super cheap chilli with stuff in the cupboards and posh (but reduced) mince which should feed us for next few days!
*being more careful about spending- cash only for me as I was getting a little carried away with "I'll just put this on the c/card"
*figuring out an SOA
*packed lunches for work ( I have sent MrTyo off with one today- I am still feeding him! :A)
*cheap/free entertainment - maybe more of the "having people round for dinner" and less of the "yeah lets go out" (or finding vouchers/deals for times we do!)
That's all for now- hope everyone is well and enjoying that New Year feeling- shall catch up on diaries at the weekend and look forward to stealing some tips!

Morning TYO,
I was thinking of you only this morning, whilst reading Natty's diary about locking chums up :rotfl:
Lovely shiny diary and I look forward to reading your progress.

Happy belated new year everyone! That last padlock has been a real pain to undo from the inside! But i've managed to grab some food, and look online before i have to go back in!
Start of the year has been a bit spendy, but still slowly but surely paying down the mortgage as well as building a deposit. We have an expensive year ahead but hopefully with all our careful planning it wont be as much of a shock as it would have!
Hoping your all are well, i am sure TYO will update more in depth, but i best hide before she catches me out!0
