TSB markers

Hi all,
This is my first post, however I've been reading forums for a while for information.
I held a Classic account with Lloyd's TSB for 3 years or so, and always had the pleasure of a CPD marker, ensuring no overdraft would be applied to my account, and no credit facilities would be available. Since TSB have been separated, and my account has been transferred there, the marker has come off. My circumstances haven't changed to warrant this, really, but I'm grateful regardless! I have been offered a 3k overdraft and a platinum MasterCard, however was told over the phone that loans of any description would not even be considered at this time. The call centre operative explained an application wouldn't even be scored, it would be rejected without even processing.
It all seems very odd, and I'm wondering whether it will change in time on it's own, like my CPD marker did, or if there's anything I can do to change it myself?
Apologies for the essay!
Cheers.

Once your credit file is good, if it isn't already, I would get a new bank. That will avoid the problem if you need a loan as likely the new bank will offer you based on your initial credit score.:beer:0
