Store workers will have to be careful these days as if they give there colleagues all the big reductions they may get accused of fiddling the system. ie making down more than they should etc0

some companies wont let staff use their staff discount with anything reduced..I can understand this because they obv will loose a lot of cash but you have to think of the employee who works hard for little payim tray not davey...pinched my hubbys account!!!
I must stop buying smellies..well until i spot a bargain!
never turn a bargain /freebie down you just never know when you need it0 -
Working in supermarket i watch the reduced stuff being put out.
Watch godsmacked as people resort to blows for a 10p loaf
If that what it takes for a bargain you can keepitSIMPLY BE-££577.11:eek:
Very BNPL - £353.000 -
In my local co-op the reductions are done at 9PM (shop shut at 10PM) No chilled products are allowed to be be carried over to the next morning. If not sold before 10PM then they must be binned that night.
I questioned this and have been shown the ruling that has come done from on high from the regional manager
Co-Op is my favourite daily hit first thing on a morning around 60% reduced, followed by Morrisons at 2pm and Tesco at 6pm and Sainsburys at 7.30pm.£36/£240
£5522
One step must start each journey
One word must start each prayer
One hope will raise our spirits

I live in a small village so the staff, even the manager, are not as remote as you would find in larger towns and shops

Cikey!!! Are these shops all within walking distance? That's a lot of tooing and froing on a daily basis for a bargain.0 -
Our local Morrison's have a " back room " sale for staff before going out to the reduced shelf ! Legs of lamb for £6 ! peanut butter for 10p !
No wonder there's sod all on the shelf worth having !!A Bast**d I May Be ! I Was Born One !
