Hello,

If I buy a Vauxhall corsa key which use to belong to another car. Can I get the key reprogrammed to my car?

    Yes but you need someone with the necessary equipment to program the security module. This costs a lot. of money.....

    Then you have the problem that the key won't turn in the lock.....

    If you are trying to change the locks then the cheapest approach is to remove the chip from the "new" key and put the old key on the same ring. It will operate the immobiliser, but 2 keys together will interfere with each other, so you have to remove the one that isn't registered. If they are easy to remove, you can swap the chips, but usually they are moulded in and will break.
    I want to go back to The Olden Days, when every single thing that I can think of was better.....

    (except air quality and Medical Science ;))

    Yes, by someone who has the Tech 2 software programmer,.
    They can add up to 3 separate fob keys.
    The transponder chip needs to be recognised by the car, if you have the old fob, you can swap over the transponder chip in the key to the new fob cutting out the tech 2 re-program.
    Then it is just turning it to position 1 and holding the lock button for 5 seconds.

    Obviously you will need the metal key bit.
