I can't believe that this is not a joint venture for so many people.

We have only ever bought two houses that we have lived in (and one investment property), but for all of them the house had to 'speak' to both of us (even though we may have been looking for different things)

When we viewed our Spanish house and went onto the roof terrace and saw the view - it didn't just speak, it sang! We didn't bother looking at the others the Estate Agent had got lined up.

Joint venture, surely - you both have to live there!

Ours will be a joint venture - the tendancy though has been for more houses to 'speak' to my H than me. Therefore I have said no to houses he has said maybe to. The only houses we have offered on are the ones we have both said yes to.

Well in these kind of discussions I think the man should always have the last word...

...which should be "Yes, dear". :D
