How do i find out if i have an ATX V1 or V2 motherboard, I have a gigabyte "GA 8ISXT-FS".

Your motherboard (PDF manual) has a 20-pin connector, while most PSUs these days will have a 24-pin connector (more info here).
Don't worry about compatibilty with number of pins as 24 to 20-pin adaptors are readily available, the cheapest being eBay. Many 20 to 24-pin adaptors came up in the eBay search - make sure to get 24 to 20-pin. G
