Sorry can u explain the last part of what u said?why would i reimburse my insurance?

You can reimburse your insurer following them paying out to a third party. This makes the claim a non fault claim, and you get any NCD lost as a result of the claim reinstated.

Useful if cost effective and you have unprotected ncd.

After a fault claim you usually lose 2 years ncd and none is awarded for the year of the claim. Thus by reimbursing your insurer you get back up to 3 years, depending how many you had originally. Insurers usually reduce from a max of 5 years, so if you had 8 years prior to the claim you start the next year with 3 years.

Do dummy quotes online to see what difference it makes to your premium with and without your ncd being affected by this claim.

get dent devils out, wont be able to tell the difference. Alot on here work for insurance companys, so are biased.
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.
