Coupon - may be worth linking somewhere in your sticky thread - please!
I have added it as the main 'MET' example under the hyperlink 'How to win at POPLA' on the NEWBIES thread now. Would also be OK for PE and G24, Athena, CP Plus and others which use ANPR.
I am quite keen on this point for ANPR cases, which was hidden in there:
'No signs at the car park clearly tell drivers about this technology nor how the data captured by ANPR cameras will be used. This means the system does not operate in a reasonable, consistent and transparent manner'
...because I don't recall seeing a PPC sign that EVER does state what they will use the data for. Never mind that it's 'merely' a BPA CoP breach (won't win at POPLA saying that). More importantly, it points to a failure to comply with the ICO terms of registration and a breach of the CPUTR 2008 (claiming to comply with the BPA Code of Practice when it is not the case).PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
