Will hopefully be back in a couple of days with a better, bigger over payment!!0 -

I'm sneaking in early for next week with £2.68 (money off coupons on weekly shop).
I agree with PLMBL that this challeng has been so helpful in clearing the debts, not just because all the little payments add up but also because it does keep me focused on the debt busting. When I was just making one big payment a month it was easy to let the overspending creep up. This challenge makes me think about all the little things I can do to get rid of the debt sooner so big thanks to lucky for running itMFW 2024 £27500/7500 Mortgage £129,500 Jan 22 Final payment June 38 Now £68489.08 FP May 36 Emergency Fund £20,000 100% Added to ISA 24 £8,060 Save 12k in 24 #31 £20,034.76/20,000 Debt Free 31.07.140 -
Managed to pay £70 towards a CC today I think its 0.4% am I correct 70 divided by hundred then multiply by the total debt.
Sorry for being rubbish at maths (hence the debt)0 -
oops sorry forgot to post on Sunday when I did a £2.48 bank skim. Coming down nicely - slowly slowly catch a monkey lol0

Hi looking forward not back and welcome to this challenge. We're a friendly bunch here :hello: To work out you percentage you need to divide the money you've paid by the debt the multiply it by 100. So if I pay an extra £60 on a £2000 debt it works out at 60 divided by 2000 is 0.03 x 100 = 3% Hope that helps.MFW 2024 £27500/7500 Mortgage £129,500 Jan 22 Final payment June 38 Now £68489.08 FP May 36 Emergency Fund £20,000 100% Added to ISA 24 £8,060 Save 12k in 24 #31 £20,034.76/20,000 Debt Free 31.07.140
