HSBC Repeat offers

I paid off my HSBC 0% offer balance in November, prior to it falling due (December). Have received one statement showing a nil balance. Does anybody know if HSBC offer any repeat offers at 0% and what the timescale is likely to be, or should I just close the account, wait a couple of months and then apply elsewhere.

Have a couple of other 0% offers expiring in May - MBNA and Halifax and will need to move them over.

I do realise that! However prior to doing so I was investigating other's experiences.

I do get repeat offers in my HSBC< but usually at least a couple of months of zero balances, but in my experience they don't offer very often.

But I would assume, they base their offers on the facts and figures they hold on each account holder?

i have banked with HSBC for 20+ years and have had various credit cards with them over the years. i have taken advantage of initial offers, but have never had anything offered as a 'repeat'.

therefore, i have tended to push my card business on to Amex for spending and MBNA and Barclays for Balance Transfers.

there you go then. i have found that they are keen to encourage you to retain their cards, suggesting that 'there may be offers soon', but they never materialise.

i have a card with a 0%BT on at the moment, ending summer 2015. at that point i will clear and close.
