ikea pax corner wardrobe ?

Hi, and happy new year everyone
I am considering ikea pax to utilise a corner space in bedroom, ideally I would like to have 2 x 50cm wide wardrobes either side of the corner section, but we only have space on one side of the corner section for a 50cm wardrobe....
main question is related to depth of the corner section...
Would be using a 35cm deep unit for the 50cm wardrobe ( it would be side on to bed, and having deeper unit might be a bit claustrophobic ) So would have front-to-back hanger in this one which would be ok for me but not for mrs....
In the buyers guide for PAX & KOMLEMENT, the corner section looks like it is a fair bit deeper than the 35cm deep units ( if the schematic drawing is properly to scale ) So in theory the 2 clothes rails you get with corner unit would allow genuinely useful clothes hanging space....
be very grateful if any one who has the PAX corner unit could advise on depth dimensions and thoughts on whether it does the job ok re hanging plenty of clothes.
THanks
<< edit>> our nearest ikea store is around 120 miles away, so not really an option to travel up just for measure-up. Hopefully store in Exeter be up and running in near future...

Take a look at the instructions for the frame here: http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/assembly_instructions/pax-corner-section-frame__AA-563557-7_pub.pdf. On page 9 it shows the layout, the frame is deep as a standard 58cm unit. However you've only a 50cm - 60cm worth of width internally along the rail that will be useful for clothes, as in to the points either side you lose depth that won't fit hangers. Also note you have a lot of wasted space hidden behind the wardrobe.
Its a shame they've dropped the old corner unit which ran at a right angle and used the full corner. I have this and it fits tons of clothes.0 -
we have these wardrobes and the one in the corner had to be installed away from the wall moreover there are ikea staff members who can help you with it and also guide you as to which one you should go for and you do get genuine advise there.
Make sure you take all the measurements of the room.
I think you can also design it online on ikea website.0 -

Cheers for the pdf, that's very useful.
I agree the old corner unit would be better, there wont be too much space wasted behind wardrobe, as the adjoining wardrobe will be 35cm deep version, looks to be a lot more space wasted if using the 58cm deep frames.0 -

thanks for feedback, we have just over 74 cm of space from the corner, and according to the catalogue/buyers guide, we need 73.2 cm, so should just about be ok, might need some skirting board removal..
So can you stash a lot of gear in the corner unit itself ?0
