It's not just me that's being affected, but everyone. Whereas once you got a search win within 10 searches, it has become noticeably longer- 100+ searches to get 1 win.

    That's not true.

I've never had to wait until anywhere near 100 searches to get the 1st win. Its usually within the first 20 searches.

If you do too many searches too quickly then the search engine will extend the number of searches needed for a win.

If that's what you want to believe. I always search in the same way- why did it take me only around a dozen searches today and hundreds yesterday then? Some days you can get a win almost instantly and other not. It's better to assume it's completely random or to do with time of day.

In other news....No surveys around today at all for me! Anyone else?

I don't use SB search very much, but often get points withing a couple of serches when others are posting about search wins, so I tend to think they are time of day based, at least to some extent.... and assume thats why on the USA FB page people post when dubs and trips are out ?

Just completed a PL survey, it only asked me 2 questions and then it took me to the exit page so I thought I was been kicked out. Really surprised when it said I had earned 36SB!

That's absolutely correct. The people who use it as a normal search engine, whereby they are only searching the odd one or two phrases an hour and then actually clicking on to the sites, will get wins quicker with higher amounts.
The people who input words and phrases trying to get a win are throttled.
Anyone who searches too many times too quickly will have the search feature stopped completely for a set amount of time.

When someone first joins Swagbucks, they are rewarded with lots of search wins with some rather high amounts. This is to 'hook' you into the site and is quite understandable as a marketing tactic.

Win amounts and frequency settles down after a period of time although each persons search habits go towards creating their own Swagbucks response.
