Anyone been asked for account verification when snagging a paypal voucher?

I got a £10 paypal last week and altho it hasn't credited yet, it didn't ask for account verification. Today I tried to get a £5 paypal and it asks for Mobile or Postcard verification, then it states my mobile number is not supported so I must choose postcard when they send a pin code to my house?
Anyone had this, OK to choose postcard? How long does this take?

I had it last week, took about 5 days for the postcard to come. I'd ordered rewards in the past through email verification but each account needs to be postcard verified once apparently (UK mobiles don't work, the postcard comes from the states).
