    Oh, I meant to share- I think I've found the secret to getting encrave to run.....
    Click on it and it opens in a new tab on my browser. Immediately click off the page and avoid getting your mouse pointer on anywhere on the page, other than the header. Then, it will happily run in its own window. But if you get your mouse pointer on the page, it knows and will only run if you're on that window with the mouse pointer on the main part of the page. That's what I've been doing, but I haven't been able to figure out how to explain it! Thanks! :o

    Thanks so much Wizzbang - works perfectly for me :T

    Yesterday I had my best day on swagbucks this year, 160 so got both bonuses and contributed 95 points to team red. Just 3 more days to go and I'll get my first whole month bonus. Having said that I've been doing videos/games and searches mainly with a target of 40 most days as I've been so busy at work I haven't had a look at surveys much. Just keeping it ticking over nicely though after not doing well in December or January.

    With encrave I have found it usually works ok if I go to swagbucks and then the activities tab, then click on it - all in chrome. I wait for it to start - maybe do a couple of clicks to make sure and wait for the countdown to start - and then alt + tab to another browser. Then I use the other browser for things, and just alt + tab back to check on encrave periodically. When it finishes - close the tab that was running, and re-click on the bit on the activities page. I think that makes sense...

    I think I cracked the Java thing, firstly do NOT use that link, it is virus/malwared, go here to make sure yours is up to date - http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp , then you need to make sure java is activated on your browser (firefox, tools, add on, plug ins, java set to always active) , plus use an ad blocker to stop that dating site pop up

    Um, quite the opposite. Java is a massive massive security risk for all browsers. The advice has been for the last year to disable Java, from as high up as the US' dept of homeland security.
    Basically there's a Java weakness that allows cybercriminals to access your browser & computer & install whatever they like... and the scary thing is that you do not even need to click on anything. Just simply browsing a website that has dodgy code on it can allow it in.
    They've patched Java multiple times to no avail, so none of the updates have solved it because Java is fundamentally flawed, the hackers easily find a way round.

    I'm really surprised how few people know about this- it got a lot of publicity last year, because it was this Java weakness that was responsible for facebook's HQ to be hacked, despite the fact they were all using Mac computers which are resistant to viruses and trojans.

    Seriously folks, if you haven't disabled Java on your browser, you're running a v v high risk. Its not a very useful plug-in. Hardly any websites need it in order to run. I've had mine disabled for a year now and its not bothered me in the least.
    I dont get any !!!!!! or annoying pop ups on the encrave either.

    If you don't trust my word, i'd beseech you to google 'Java security weakness' or even "department of homeland security Java" and see for yourselves.
    :-(

    I just did two Dashboard Surveys... One was impossibly long for 100sbs. It just went on and on and on and on and on and oh my GAWD i was going to start banging my head on the desk.
    It was mostly about what you use your laptop/ipad/phone for online. Felt like the questions were repeating themselves... but then it completely changed topics and started asking me about haircare products...then designer bags... then news/politics sites. think it was 5 surveys in 1. It felt like being trapped inside a survey with no way out!!!
    :mad::mad::mad:

    The other one was about the proposed legislation about smoking in cars for 50sbs, but it hasn't credited. It says my answers are being reviewed. Never had that before on a dashboard survey. Is that normal? :(
