Been meaning to ask this for ages but keep forgetting.

Does anyone regularly check the blog for the random hourly winner. I never think to do it and only remember on the odd time that I go to the blog? Just wondering if it is worth posting on here when we spot a name on the blog just in case it is one of us?

I used to regularly check...but then, there are so many more users in the USA it seems pretty unlikely (not impossible). If someone could do an app where you just enter your username in and it notifies you if you won, that would be awesome!

I've just tried to order my very first gift card and have to verify my account. It wouldn't accept my phone number to send a text so have had to go for the postcard option through the mail. Is this normal? Im guessing I wont have the pin code through in time to get the sale price or perhaps even to redeem in time for Christmas? Does anybody know how long this process usually takes? Many thanks x

If you are on twitter, there is a twitter account that tweets the hourly winner and if your username on SB is the same as your twitter handle, you will automatically get alerted to the tweet. I always verify mine by email & so far has been fine. I wouldn't bank on it being through ready to use for Christmas but fingers crossed it will be!

Yes, this is normal- happens to everyone in the UK. Loads of people had this problem last Christmas because they were new. Create a stink about it on Facebook and see if they will agree to hold the price for you. Take a screenshot to prove you ordered it today and contact SBHQ as well.

It didn't give me the option to verify by email either.
