I don't think it's the length of time you watch for that's their worry. What they want is for you to watch the advert (first 20 seconds). They don't really care if you learn pole dancing, its not really in the business plan.:)
They dont like you watching too much SBTV however. People in past have said on MSE that they've lost their account for this. Not recently though.
Advertisers want their advert seen by many different people I think, rather than a small number of people watching their ad again and again on SBTV and just using up bandwidth.
This is what they emailed me yesterday:
Your account has been flagged by our Compliance systems for Watch/Video viewing irregularities.
To keep your account in good standing, please refrain from using any unauthorized viewing methods. These methods include, but are not limited to, unauthorized third party software, using browser add-ons not associated with Swagbucks.com, or any viewing methods meant to exploit our video services.
Any pending prizes are now approved but your account will be monitored to make sure it is in compliance with our Terms of Service.
I have always watched the first 20 seconds and all the adverts crikey I know the Geberit AquaClean ad off by heart lol and I've not used any software add-ons etc just me physically moving on after the counter has lit up. I can only assume this is what they mean by
'any viewing methods meant to exploit our video services'.
I think you're right they just don't want the adverts seen over and over again by the same person but if that is the case surely there should be a lower limit on the amount of SBTV you can watch daily I think at the moment you can watch 500 videos and get a maximum 150 SB.
By the way I've just searched 'Geberit' and got 10 SB dubs!!!0 -

It was direct in browser and over the weekend Friday to Sunday I used up the full allowance 150 SB each day there wasn't any surveys to do as it was so quiet.
Generally I've been getting between 50-80 SBs again on quiet days, I don't bother if there are plenty of other earning opportunities.0 -
I have just got flagged in Crowdflower for getting 15/16 questions RIGHT! A major one too! Can someone please explain this as I haven't got a clue what it is all about. I only do a few tasks occasionally & even then half cause me problems, so I probably won't do them unless I am absolutely desperate for points from now on.0

Yay I am feeling better now. One of the quick surveys (18) has been credited & I have been given a hook up comment bonus too. 1st Target met. Thank you Swagbucks.0

Disqualified from a survey that said there was no right or wrong answers. :rotfl:0

Yes they assume because you are watching so much you must be cheating.
I agree they should be clearer about how much to watch, and I know they say 150SB is allowed. But I'd be cutting way back from that if I was you.
I'd say your account is at risk. You'll be labelled a cheat and kaput, your account could be gone and any saved Sb will be gone too. It's happened to others anyway.
But respect to you, I'd need psychiatric care if I watched 150SB of SBTV in a day. Quite an achievement!0 -
