  • The daily poll is getting some comments about the SBTV. People mention that this is the main reason people get banned. I understand if you are using bots and get caught fair enough but what if you are genuinely watching the vids why would you get banned?

People mention that you shouldn't click on the next one when the meter increases but why does the meter change so soon if they don't expect you to click on next. Surely it wouldn't take much effort to delay the meter until the end of the vids if that's what they wanted.

Also mentioned that you get the captchas if they suspect you are using a bot, is this true?

  • I wish I could be consistent in setting the targets. Unfortunately it won't be always possible as working full time and looking after little ones leaves little time to spend on getting SB. At the moment I am on leave and doing surveys only and listening to the radio I am able to make around 500SB daily. However when I get back to work it's gonna be difficult :(.

Yes, obviously working gets in the way of higher targets.

If you can use the new app then that will go some way to helping you reach the goals whilst away from the home.
I think there is 36sbs available from it. Better than nothing. :)

Where have you read these comments? I can't find them on the poll page.

ETA. It's ok. I found them.

I can only tell you what I have found from my experience.

Captchas are used throughout the internet (not just on Swagbucks) to prevent 'bot' use and not because people are suspected of using them.

If you get a captcha, enter it straight away. If you don't, you will lose the swagbucks plus the computer will *think* you are not watching and is more likely to give you another captcha next time.
Those who don't enter captchas quick enough will find they will have more and more of them so if you watch SBTV on the floating window and it is minimised all the time, keep an eye on it when its at 90%.
Also, when SBTV has reached 100% and it says "Congratulations. You've won 3 Swagbucks", its best not to leave that sat for too long to avoid captchas in future.

As far as the meter goes I often advance to the next video as soon as the meter goes up 10%. As you say, why else do they have the meter move up if you can't go to the next one? What would be the point?
However, I don't advance as soon as the meter moves every single time but I do a lot. My window is minimised most of the time but I would take a guess that I advance as soon as the meter goes up 40% of the time and after that or the end of a video 60% of the time.

I use SBTV every day from morning till bedtime. I use it on the floating window only and never through 'Watch'.
In all the time I've been on Swagbucks, I have had less than 5 captchas on it.

Unless there is a specific rule about the use of SBTV on Swagbucks, I go by the principle that what I do is ok and ignore most of the rumours but whenever in doubt, contact them.
