I really can't believe that Amazon vouchers could not be useful to anyone! I mean, they sell everything! We save them up and buy presents or use them to treat ourselves to the books, CDs and DVDs we'd like. Occasionally we buy something else- like I saved up and bought my husband a new phone. Next, he wants a Wii U!

I just cash out at £5 Amazon because there's no difference in price all the way up to £100. As Martin Lewis says "Cash out at the LOWEST possible amount because if the site goes bust, you've lost the minimum amount". Just occasionally at Christmas, I've gone for a £25 or £50 when they've been further reduced. But for me, it takes a lot of effort to get to £5 and I'm not prepared to risk it.

How much to they get further reduced by?

As for me I much prefer to change my SB for PayPal payouts as I can always transfer the money from PayPal to my bank account if I need to. If I don't need I can always have extra money I could spent on whatever I want.

I can understand that and as someone who's a film fanatic I use Amazon a lot but they are not always the cheapest and they will not price match everyone.

An example is blu-rays where they will price match Tesco & Asda who have very limited range but will not match The Hut group (The Hut/Zavvi etc) or my favourite UK retailers Base.com, Eureka,Arrow and, BBCshop, even the other European Amazon sites are better for service never mind the best of all amazon.ca

Often cash is better but not always - it's about what you set out to get

I'm £20 of Amazon off a new fridge-freezer from earning sites:) They paid for Crimbo last year.
And that's with cashing out here for M&S as I can eat the food for the Swagbucks.

I would like Paypal to be cheaper, as it would be nice to have cash sometimes. But I can't justify the poor return.

I mostly buy 2nd hand items on Amazon, so I don't have to worry about price matching. I always check and see if CEX or eBay is cheaper.
