8sb searching for the Adobe black mop mentioned by Wizzbang!

I invested in a Tesco steam mop, £20 and just used it, and it's extremely good, definitely a worthwhile investment!

Just thought I would add my two pennies and say that if you use boiled water from the kettle you get the steam plus the floors dry really quickly - Just a thought while you are saving up!

I used to think that, until I had a steam mop and now I don't spend money on detergent which quickly pays for itself. Also, it's quicker as the floor dries almost instantly and is sanitised without chemicals.

I had a steam mop that could also be used on carpets, so I steamed them all- amazing what came off and saved myself at least £35 off a rental machine.

More than paid for itself in just a couple of weeks. Plus, you don't have to spend loads- they start at around £20 and you're looking at at least £7 for an Addis mop, plus bucket and detergent. Then you'll need to factor in replacement heads at several pounds each- steam mop heads are just put into the washing machine and re-used. I tried cheap mops from supermarkets and they break quickly. So it's really not an extravagance.
