They look older than 12 weeks?

It's hard to tell as there is no scale to see them against for size, I was just remembering my boy who still had quite a fluffy kitten coat at 12 weeks and these guys look really sleek.

I'd say they look closer to 15-16 weeks. Got 4 black ones myself :) I always take on the black ones because many people avoid them so they're harder to home, but my special love is torties because they're insane.

I'm partial to black cats too, still don't understand why they're hard to home, they're like mini panthers, who doesn't want a mini panther?

hi, quick update. they are settling in really well. I think the feliway is working! they are very playful and mich more socialable. still no idea how to get them to the vets though, will ring them for yheir advice later. big thank you for all your advice. c
  • They are absolutely gorgeous, our two boys are black as well. It always amazes me that people avoid them.

Gorgeous kitties :) I think you stand a really good chance with them being only 12 weeks. I have a friend who rescued a 5-6 month old kitten who was an ex feral. Initially she was very timied, hissy and generally avoided humans but she has slowly but surely turned into a bit of a cuddle bum! Playing and treats are definitely recommended.
If it doesn’t move, and it should, use WD-40. If it moves, and it shouldn’t, use duct tape!
