Best paint stripper solution, since we have lead based paint on the job?

The problem i have with that gel stuff is that we used 3/4 a pot & all we've done is the upright of a doorframe (yes, "A" - singular) and the top. Not the right hand side.
There's 5 other door frames to do AND the spindles AND the bannister of the stairs. I'd hate to think how much that would cost.
Had a look at safe ways to remove lead paint & the directgov website does say that softening (not burning) with a heatgun is fine, so long as it's below whatever degrees it stated. I don't know what our gun gets to. The one thing we didn't do which the directgov website says to do is to keep the area moist. We just softened & scraped.
Everything is easy on flat wood though, what do you do on curved wood? Any of you have tips & tricks?0 -

Try chains..:cool:It is nice to see the value of your house going up'' Why ?
Unless you are planning to sell up and not live anywhere, I can;t see the advantage.
If you are planning to upsize the new house will cost more.
If you are planning to downsize your new house will cost more than it should
If you are trying to buy your first house its almost impossible.0
