    UU

Sachet Estee Lauder Advanced night repair - WNBA Alas didnt awake looking 10 years younger - have a couple more sachets to go but dont think I will be investing in this anytime soon.

Have painted my nails with Cirque - lonesome George - a green holo polish (if there is anyone in the world other than me who loves green polish!)

I have just looked up that Cirque on SallyM's, it looks gorgeous, I am seriously tempted:eek:

I too love Green, I have about 8 and my favourites are A England Dragon and Zoya PixieDust in Chita, my most eye watering green has to be China Glaze Emerald Sparkle, time for a change of colour on my toes I think:D

  • Another UU Ted Baker body scrub, and 3 INS of Right Guard Total defence from the £1 shop, this is really good and unlike some of the other xtreme products smells nice and doesn't foam up everywhere. Stocked up whilst they have some left.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Finally threw out my Bourjois 123 Perfect foundation - there was nothing coming out of the pump and then when I unscrewed the lid the tube fell out (and there wasn't much on it anyway) so I'm letting it retire honorably. WBA as it covered up my spots pretty well, wasn't too heavy and the colour was a good match for me.

I'm off to my makeup swap in about 15 minutes so will hopefully get rid of a few more things there too - will report back this afternoon if I have any OUTs!

Well, I was expecting some more INs but it's not to be, I found the Nails Inc. TSV quite disappointing so I'm returning it :o

I'm on Buttered Rum Cake now and prefer the smell of that, though I do much prefer ones like mimosa, with a bit more zing.

Well done on returning the TSV. Back in the old days I would not have bothered and would have kept them for the sake of it. Nowadays I just don't bother ordering if I know I'm really going to like something because of the hassle of returning them and also i was not aware of the Law mentioned in the following post. I've posted a thanks on that post as it's well worth knowing.

Emma has had the Butter Rum Cake shower gel before and really loved it. I don't remember getting a chance to try it myself.
    Evening ladies
Uu elemis quiet mind bath elixir, absolutely love this, it smells heavenly and is very soothing to the senses, have a small one left in the stash.

    Happy pampering xo

I have recently opened a small one of these for MrM as I now only have two small ones left. I had four of the full sized ones from last year's Christmas gift (Elemis TSV) from MrM however they have all gone. MrM loves this however I'm not sure that I would ever repurchase it as a stand alone product. Would you?
    Hi everyone,
    Busy thread again. :)

Well 3 UUs today including one from my PP list. :T

Liz Earle Hand Repair - WNBA, I don't use hand cream really and all the creams I have were gifts or part of a set. This wasn't bad, bit of a relic so perhaps the scent had gone a tad funny, but it wasn't greasy which I liked.

Well done on making headway through your PP list.

It may not be that the LE hand repair has gone off as I find it smells sort of oaty anyway. I don't really like this product as it tends to flake off my skin rather than be easily absorbed and I read somewhere that the reason for that is that a product has white clay in it. Last time I had a tube of this I gifted it to a friend for her birthday.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

OK, I have three more UUs and and three INS:-

    UUs:-

    1) Origins Starting Over Eye Cream 5ml. For a little tube this product went a long way. WNBA though. Not that I noticed anything detrimental about using this product but I've tried others that I prefer. At the moment my eyes are looking a little crepey and puffy underneath. Have another small tube of Origins Plantscription in my stash and a No7 Protect and Perfect so will give these a go before I purchase a full sized eye cream. Really enjoyed using the Clinique one that I had a while ago.

This product was also on my PP list. Yay, only one product left which is the Mark Hill Straightening Spray which I've been using like mad all week. Is feeling very very very light now. Hopefully will be gone early next week.

    2) Pantene shampoo. WNBA as I prefer Aussie or V05. Drumroll please ladies. I graduated in shampoo (cue Grease song again!!). Have been grocery shopping this morning and picked up some Aussie shampoo to replace this. The three products for £10.00 offer was on again so picked up 2 x shampoos and 1 x conditioner.

    3) TBS 200ml Almond body butter. WBA. Love TBS body butters as a whole. Love this fragrance in particular.

Did have a TA last night as well but it was a nail lacquer which I don't count for this challenge. Was OPI Pink Me I'm Good which had gone very gloopy. Tried adding some Nail Thinner to it but it was too far gone. Not too depressed about this. I think it came as part of a kit so I wouldn't consider repurchasing (not sure I can anyway).

Finally, thought I'd mention a website that I have contacted recently re: Joeur tinted moisturiser. Emma mentioned that she would like to try these. I contacted their Customer Service Team to see if I could get samples for her and got a very lovely enthusiastic response from them. They have sent samples this weekend. Am hoping that Emma prefers this over the Nars foundation samples that she has been trying recently. Saying that though the Nars foundation does look lovely and dewy on her. Anyone have any experience of the Joeur moisturiser?

Been having a little sort out and have broken into a gift set (purchased in last year's 75% off sale) so three INs:

    22. FCUK Signature body spray 150ml
    23. FCUK Signature body butter 200ml
    24. FCUK Signature body wash 250ml

    And a UU:

    17. Soap & Glory Thick & Fast mascara 10ml. This came with a gift set and I WNB, it was ok but a little too wet for my liking - I have very long lashes and every time I applied it it would leave flutter marks on my upper eyelid straight away when I opened my eyes IYSWIM, so too faffy for my morning routine!

Thats good about them sending you samples Val. Really helpful.

 The Too Faced palette I have had my eye on has 12% off on Debenhams plus I have £5 on my beauty card I can use and if I buy it would get another £5 in points. Would really like it as I have never tried Too Faced shadows before.

Oh no Im enabling! If you use the code CRUMPET I believe you can get 10% off the Cirque.

I think it was the A Englands that started the love - Havent got any of the Pixiedust - is it as rough as the OPI sands?

China Glaze emerald sparkle is now on my to buy list - it looks gorgeous.

To be fair my nail polish love affair has only re-started in the last year buy boy have I fell hard. Luckily I dont count polish as to be honest I dont want to ever finish them.

Which considering ive bought OPI DS Mystery, radiance & Extravagance. Nails inc TSV, Lucky Dip and some sale polishes. Liquid sky lacquer evergreen and some thermals is probably for the best.

I have the same problem and like a drier mascara; what I tend to do is open my new one a few weeks before I think I need it, pump the wand a few times and repeat every couple of days. This gives it a chance dry up before I start using it in earnest.

ETA: Maybelline Illegal Lengths waterproof mascara is the driest I have ever used. Most reviews criticise it as a result but if I had a mascara emergency and had to buy one to use straight away, I would repurchase in a heartbeat :D

Thanks FizzWhizz, nice to know I'm not the only person this happens to :D

Thanks also for the recommendation, however I have around a dozen mascaras in the stash so it will probably have been discontinued by the time I need to repurchase... :o I have replaced for now with a mini Benefit Bad Gal, have used this before but not for a while, IIRC it was ok but didn't wow me - I never really "get" the Benefit hype TBH.

Rooting through my cosmetics stash made me realise I really must do a makeup stash list - have found it so much easier to manage my toiletries this month!
