Halifax Preference Shares

I've just come across my certificate for 400 Halifax Pref Shares which were issued to me back in the 90s when I was a Birmingham Midshires customer.
Does anyone know whether they're still worth anything, and if so, how I go about cashing them in?
TIA

Halifax was taken over by Lloyds, every Halifax share got ~ 0.6 Lloyds shares
400 Halifax shares ~ 240 Lloyds shares
Lloyds now ~79p
Worth ~ £190
Write to Equiniti, the share registrar, to get your details changed and new certificate or much better crest register so you can sell cheaply online through XO.com for £6 or so, 3 to 5 times cheaper than selling through your bank.0 -

Thanks all. I've just checked my bank statements for the previous 12 months and it seems that I am still getting paid a small dividend on these shares - £12.95 twice yearly. So it probably makes sense to hang onto them.0
